I want a well-balanced collection that while showcasing my favorite genre: horror, also includes milestones of cinema that covers everything from Monty Python and the Holy Grail to Schindlers List and back.  You can expect to see some obscure horror sequels, like A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Master and Psycho IV: The Beginning - but I will always have justification for owning them.  I'm not as much a completist as a collector of films I believe to be great.  Example:  I never plan to own the Return of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre because it sucks....however the other four I plan to buy.

However I don't limit my collection to just films : which means I should probably call it my DVD collection instead of movie collection but oh well.  Smallville, MST3K, and Adult Swim titles will probably work their way in.

A Beautiful Mind (2001) This is such a warm film.  I walked away from it so uplifted.  Russel Crowe and Jennifer Conneley act out the true story of Professor John Nash - a brilliant mathematician with a mental illness.

A Beautiful Mind - Wonderfully made drama based on a true story.  Best Picture in '02.
Africa Screams - Abbott and Costello rock my world.  I can't believe this was only $1.
Amelie - Take the spirit of France and wrap it up in a movie.  Good.  Now call that movie Amelie.
Army of Darkness: Directors Cut : Sixteen more minutes of cut-film to love.
Bubba Ho-Tep -The best Elvis battles a Mummy film with JFK I've ever seen.
City of Angels - An above-average chick flick worthy of honorable mention.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind : A fun and imaginative drama-comedy.
Fahrenheit 9/11 : While sinfully decieving, a well-made piece of propaganda all the same.
Ferris Bueller's Day Off : A lovable high school epic adventure.  One of the eighties greatest films.
Halloween III: Season of the Witch : C'mon....even bad movies need love.
Requiem for a Dream : The most powerful film I've ever seen.
Reservoir Dogs : Entertaining Tarantino flick about a bank heist.  Much fun to be had here.
Transylvania 6-500 : Outstanding 80's spoof of Universal horror.  Move over, Young Frankenstein.
Willard - Surprisingly well-made drama/horror film starring George McFly.
